I can live with that...on second thought, give me the "chair"...not sure I want to keep on with these antics, eh? A death sentence might be a relief.

Ah, yes, the 'COMFY chair". The cyber inquisition still running its course. Please, dont forget the sponge.

I never attended an accustic/electric GD concert, but really dig the recordings. I did attend 2 JBG accustic/electric concerts. One at the Warfield Theater, the other on the Eel river. I feel fullfilled.

I was at the Eel too (in 87? - bad memory) - beautiful glorious day, hanging at the river, catchin a buzz, and hearing Mr. Garcia et al

Yes, '87, memory still good Dire. And yes, "glorious" is a good, true, memory of that time. JGB skipped the next year, but Hot Tuna showed, then JGB in '89. Cut short though due to the heat.

ahhhh - good to know I am making your return here that much more smooth :)

and let me guess - you hit the Greek JGB right after with the Bonnie Raitt opener - i believe i recall her saying "if any of you want to become a lawyer, just get the fuck out of this venue right now" - and low and behold, i recall seeing one asshole get up, go into a portopotty, and then scurry out of the place. damn dude, you were an asshole even then

;)

Eel River? Now your ref's to north cal make sense! Nice river. Always loved seeing the 63 (?) flood stage markers along roadways 25' above your car roof as you drove along some beautiful forested canyon...

Aye, mighty impressive high water mark, '64, good memory you have there. Still trips me out driving that highway. A creek compared to what it once was. Feeds the central valley now. Spent the day on the Trinity river yesterday. My small way of respect this week.
